DEEMA First Aid Workshops

The DEEMA first aid workshops are focused on providing individuals and families with  the skills and knowledge required in stressful situations. Our partners, First Aid Qatar, cover various scenarios with all workshops being delivered by highly qualified British, international instructors. Courses are delivered using theory, visual displays and practical workshops using First Aid scenarios, and on completion all students receive an accredited Certificate and First Aid Card from First Aid International.

First Aid Courses

This course is 6 hours in duration and will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only is sufficient for your workplace.

This course is suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

Course Overview:

  3. Basic Life Support (LS)
  4. Minor Injuries

This course is 7 hours in duration and is suitable for parents/grandparents or those within Early Years who are working as part of a team with other staff who hold a Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

  4. Minor Injuries

This course is 18 hours in duration and provides a complete set of practical skills needed by first aiders in their workplaces to become confident and competent as a nominated first aider. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.

  5. Medical First Aid
  6. Injury First Aid

This course is 12 hours in duration and focuses on emergency scenarios that face those working with adults and looking after young children and infants, including day nurseries, private nursery schools, pre-schools, before and after school clubs for children in the early years age group, childminders and carers of children at home.

The paediatric first aid course meets the Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements.

This course is 12 hours in duration and updates the first aid skills of those who need to renew their First Aid at work certificate. The HSE strongly recommends that you requalify within a month of your certificate expiring.
